ART RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
2011-12 Graduate Assistant for Art Practices I & II, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. Art studio course that combines
traditional 2D and 3D design with color and design and an emphasis on theoretical and conceptual practice within the fine
arts.
2011 Drawing Instructor, Visual Art Academy; summer art academy students under 18 years of age. Provides a classroom setting
on campus where participants choose from a variety of art courses over two weeks. Located at the University of Alaska
Fairbanks. Instructed Drawing I & II, focusing on traditional drawing techniques.
2010 Visiting Artist for Family Center Services at the Boys and Girls Home of Alaska, residential grade school, instructed a
painting class for middle and high school students. Students each made a 5"x5" painting featuring animals/plant-life that
were representative of each of their villages they are from. Paintings were then installed all together on a 5'x6' mural of
Alaska inside the school.
2009 Guest Artist at West Valley High School for “Art Week”, Fairbanks, Ak.
2009 Finishing work on stainless steel and glass installation, “Tanana”, located at the Fairbanks International Airport. On site
work hired by artist David Ruth located in California.
2008 Stainless steel finishing and sandblasting, assistant to artist Mark Fejes on sculptural installation “Migration” for the
Fairbanks International Airport.
2008 Farthest North Iron Pour; participated in an Iron pour with a group from the states. Iron pour took place in Wiseman,
Ak (proclaiming it the Farthest North) and also in Kenai, Ak. Made cast and sand molds and poured them in an open
forum inviting locals to watch and participate.
2007 Materials Coordinated/ Assistant, Visual Art Academy; summer art camp for 9-18 year olds. Provides a classroom setting
